Lorenzo Hall
Lorenzo Hall was born in 1932 in Jacksonville Florida. His family moved to New York City where he attended the High School of Music and Arts (Now LaGuardia.) He pursued his artistic education at The Art Student League and in Paris, France at Academie du Feu and Germaine School of Photography. He exhibited in Paris at Galerie La Grande Chamiere, Galerie Iris Clert and Musee Moderne.
He is a long-time resident of Staten Island where he is a fixture in the art scene, exhibiting at Staten Island Museum, Staten Island Art Lab and Art@Bay. He is a member of Brooklyn Waterfront Artists’ Coalition. He describes himself as a multimedia artist, including painting, drawing and sculpture. He credits his main influences to Andy Warhol and Chuck Close.
